In this work, movement is not frozen—it becomes the image itself.
As the bird passes through the frame, its wings dissolve into translucent layers of light and shadow, blurring the traditional boundary between body and air. Rather than stopping a fraction of a second, the photograph allows time itself to leave a visible trace.
Against an almost empty white field, the head and bill remain more defined while the wings stretch into soft gestures of motion, bringing the image closer to drawing with movement than conventional wildlife documentation.
It is a study of motion, time and disappearance—a moment in which the bird appears both present and fleeting, leaving behind only the trace of its flight.
